The degenerates of the lgbqt community are pushing for having sex in public claiming that they are being oppressed. No doubt the Democrats will be eager to include this in their platform.

I wonder why you're fascinated with the fringe aspects of various communities?

https://freebeacon.com/campus/rutgers-declares-grammar-racist/

As we all know, Blacks and other minorities can't possibly be expected to comprehend and adhere to the nuances of standard grammatical English. It's just too difficult. In light of their disabilities, Rutgers has taken the needed, progressive step of declaring grammar racist. Henceforth the curriculum will place "...an emphasis on the variability of the English language instead of accuracy". I, for one, fully support Rutger's attempt to assist our small-minded minority friends in their dreams of becoming English pros. Hopefully some of our other fine educational institutions can embark on similar journeys to "decolonize" the English language.

seems like a federal guideline would be able to shut this down instantly wouldn't it?
issue a guidance memo saying 'cut out your bullshit'

What about business and economics? They also get miscategorized as STEM due to similar policies when they are clearly social sciences.

Maybe they have a different ranking system other than the phallic soft to hard scale?

There are so many unlicensed -therapy programs it is becoming the new -studies lol.

Business and econ could at time be a stem depending on composition of that degree. Like if 60 of your credits is sitting in python writing trading algorithms as part of your business degree then that's enough math and tech to qualify it as STEM.

Look up econometrical models or complex financial models and you quickly understand why they could be included as STEM

Entirely depends on the degree class requirements.

Econ is purely human behavioral science like psychology, sociology, etc. They all have their metrics classes which include math and statistics, not sure how to do empirical science without math measurements :p.

I just wanted to hear some rationalizing tbh.

Business is kind of its own animal. But on the whole it is less technical than even the social sciences.

Some allied health degrees could probably fit your description.

There's a quantitative level to econ that's higher than other social sciences like psychology or sociology.

Like i had to take 2 calculus, econometrics & other fairly quantitative classes that were considered core requirements to get an econ degree. Most psych or soc degree require a pretty basic understanding of stats at most.

My guess here is you haven't taken any advanced social science courses to have the experience to make this judgement and you are letting your prejudices out. I doubt you have even used SPSS or R and your saying this because you underestimate the work that goes into these degrees. Psychometrics is a thing.

As with all things, it's a spectrum. Obviously there's a lot of statistics that can go into a psychology degree, or not. All of physics and chemistry fall into what is normally considered "science" in STEM, most of biology, some of psychology, and some of sociology, and some of economics.

As with all categorizations, it breaks down as you introduce higher resolution.
