Yes. It never ceases to amaze me how many millennials, feel the necessity to "explain" things to folks who understand the origins and the REASON the phrase came to be used in politics, to all us cretins that have understood things like this for longer than she's been alive.

Maybe we should coin a new term... millennial-splaining. <---- Maybe this terminology will help millennials understand that they really don't need to spend time explaining the VERY obvious, to those that already understand it.

Can you explain why you guys keep using that term when it is literally made to degrade the poor and make fun of their situation then?
Because if you understand exactly what she is saying and you support the use of that term then you are a sociopath.

Sure. Because BETWEEN then and now it has come to mean, succeeding on your own, without outside help.

I mean I realize that millenials can't drive a stick shift, but I honestly thought they understood what "old sayings" were and WHY they were used. Here's one you may understand. "Take a long walk on a short pier".

LOL. No it's not. There's no snide intonation involved. When someone says: "Well that's a case of the pot calling the kettle black", it is not about race, it's wholly about accusing someone of doing something that you do as well.

IMO, we should leave the teaching to the teachers and politicians should worry about doing their jobs.
