Good distinction. Polls are not predictions. Though, they can have predictive power.

General election polls from this far out are historically inaccurate, though.

What this poll does tell us though is that Trump has a real shot at this. It's not like he has a 0% chance of winning. Vegas has him around 27%-30%, and I'd say that's fair.
