We'll have to agree to disagree. I'll give you one more practicle example why I disagree. While traveling I've picked fruit. Loads of it contract work. Go for it fill those effing bins with 400 kg apples. Each week you hand over your bin stubs and get a check. I was a backpacker but also poor working class locals like you describe doing seasonal work. What do they do with their paycheck -pub, pokies and they're down in the dumps again. Not a lie mate seen enough of it. While I was able to make 800 bucks in a good week, subtract 150 a week for a batch at the farm and food. In a 10 week apple season I got 8K in the bank. Cheers
