Defunding the police is about moving responsibility off of the police to other more experienced professionals so police can focus on showing up 40 minutes after you are robbed holding a clipboard, tell you they will look into it then never contact you like they do best.
Its not about having no police, its about managing issues in a more nuanced way.


Chicago gang members are more likely to shoot cops than social workers, the only social worker i know of that got killed by gangs was by the mexican mafia after she consulted on american me and it had a scene that stated that a top ranking member of la eme was sexually abused in prison, 13 people died over that movie.

You are saying that a police supervisor is throwing his officer under the bus and ignoring that we have the training documents that show the hold wasmt authorized for this situation, his supervisor testified to it, the guy who trained Chauvin testified to it, and the fact that there were dozens of people and video that testified that Floyd had lost consciousness.

The preponderance if evidence shows the testimony was truthful and all you have is a conspiratorial assertion that he was actively lieing to the court.
