I agree, and I hope so. I really do not think is Trump is qualified to be our president. It would be an absolute embarrassment and would be awful for our country, especially our economy and international relations. He would be likely one of the worst presidents ever.

Hey, that would make the 2000s contain two of the top 5 or 10 worst president ever! All in a relatively short time span, and both from the same major political party.

He wouldn't be on the right side of history, that's for sure.

The worst bit is that there's no concrete plan for the future, no substantial evidence that leaving the EU would actually be beneficial. Even the Leave camp is divided in terms of how to proceed further. Farage and co played this simply on the emotions of the people and won.

According to some BBC reports, Morgan Stanley is moving 2000 jobs from England to Dublin and Frankfurt.

More to follow.

Morgan Stanley flatly denies reports that it has begun the process of relocation, saying: “The UK’s vote to leave the European Union is a very significant decision which will have a considerable impact, the extent of which will not be known for some time. There will be at least a period of two years before an actual exit takes place, so there will be time to implement any changes required to adjust our business to the new environment.

I have failed to see one single decent argument to why you voted yes on leaving EU. Enlighten us.

300000+ people a year is unmanageable. And the other way to deal with that is leaving.

True enough, you did provide dumber reasons. No space

Is wanting to vote for the people who create your laws not a good enough reason or something?

The effort you go to truly touches my heart.

Anymore reports on jobs moving on the first day after the referendum?

Before you try explaining to him, remember he fled his own country because it was shit, instead of trying to make it better.

Trying to instill a sense of pride in your homeland to him will fall on deaf ears.

I just can't get enough of this

Votes by age:

18-24: 75% Remain
25-49: 56% Remain
50-64: 44% Remain
65+: 39% Remain

Thanks nan for putting Britain on a path the young generation doesn't want.

If only they could get their news from staid and proper sources like the Sun.

and this

The pound is down to its lowest mark in 31 years and the FTSE 250 index dropped 7.5%, the most since the recession in 2008. Not good.

All of this seems like a rash and emotionally charged decision rather than a smart and considerate one. Nigel Farage's defining issue to leave the US was immigration, but is it worth all of these potential economic losses in their currency, stock market, and with jobs?

Honestly, it feels like the UK had a little Trump fever sweep across it with this decision. Are they really so scared of brown people that they are willing to risk the entire economy of their country? It really seems like the older generation screwed over the younger generation here, but we will see if the market corrects itself soon. I have my doubts. It looks really bad so far.

What the hell is going on, my British friends? What are the pros and cons of this decision? Why did this happen? Why is Cameron resigning now? What is going on?!

If America elects Trump (whose defining issue is also immigration/cultural identity/getting back to "American" heritage), I suspect a similar result. Shock, regret, a lot of "WTF, did we actually just do this?!" moments, and economic downturns in our currency and stock market.

and this...

Trump isn't going to win... Americans are more moderate than UK voters apparently.

They voted Cameron, a guy that was willing to put his whole country's stability and financial safety at risk for a power struggle inside his own party / to get re-elected.

I would not only say that it's not enough, i would say they should beg for international assistance on how to elect politicians.
