Rich is mad that the Democrats are a real political party who decided to turn the wheel when it was clear they were about to drive off a cliff. Gotta love the anti-anti-Trumpers.

Kamala has more talent than we knew, I think reasonable people would agree with that. I'm pleasantly surprised how good she's been the past few weeks... she's no Obama or Bill Clinton but she's much better than I expected. And pivoting away from her left-wing positions from 5 years ago is good politically and substantively. She'll have to explain it to the press once she starts doing interviews, but a politician changing their positions is not some new thing... it happens all the time.

A month ago I watched Trump almost get his head blown off on national television and knew that the race was over... now there's at least a 50% chance Kamala wins. She's got the momentum, the polls show that she's probably going to win the swing states she needs, and Trump is steering towards the cliff because he knows if she's elected, he will face jail time for his numerous crimes unless she decides to pardon him. That's not resistance porn, Trump is guilty of numerous crimes and will be incarcerated if he loses.

Her talent is being both a Female and Black. It's two woke checkbox.

She was female and black in 2019 but performed horribly in the primary. Democrats picked the old white guy in 2020. Kamala was anointed this time, but she's performing. She's a pretty good politician running against an angry old man and angry young man... I think a lot of Americans like the positivity of the Harris-Walz ticket.

Good politician? She once said there was no issue at the border and you guys getting the same treatment we're getting in Canada. She got into politics by blowing the right guy. All she does is cackling to everything. Like i said, i hope she win to see USA downfall so they teach people of the future what happen when you go woke and let your feelings dictate your future and let social medias/corporate news network dictate how you feel, think and behave.

I understand you don't like her but if you want to analyze politics accurately, you sometimes need to put your own opinions aside in order to understand how other people think.

There's not a single politician i like. I'm for the people. Politicians are all paid for and bought by the corporations. There's not a single politician in 2024 who don't have corporate interest at heart. I'm part of the people who's shocked to see adults who spend tons of their time arguing against each other bout which president is the best, which candidate have the best odds while they all crooked. Not a single one ain't bought.

I feel humanity went downhill the day the internet came out. It bred generations or clueless people who are easily reprogrammed to think how the system want them to think & behave.

What you're saying is essentially that Kamala is looking good right now because she has to face neither the press nor the voters and gets to run a vibes-based feel-good campaign with carefully scripted events while encountering no pushback or resistance whatsoever. Wow, so much political skill, I'm impressed.

At the end of the day, Kamala is a cackling, vapid fool. Her campaign is all fluff with barely any substance behind it, so I fully expect her to come back down to earth sooner or later. And no, she won't be able to run away from the policies and track record of the Biden/Harris administration.

Even assuming what you say is true about a lack of substance, does that matter? Can you tell me the substance behind Trump's campaign? What was the substantive message at his latest press conference? What policy point was he defending by arguing his crowds are bigger than Martin Luther King Jr's were?

She's not Trump and she's not Biden, that gives her a lot of votes. She has performed pretty well so far. She's going to roll out more policy and she'll have to give interviews, but it's hard to see how the ticket crashes and burns. Republicans chose a very unpopular candidate because the party is a personality cult and people are thrilled to have a choice who is not Trump or Biden.
