Depends. When it's a specific event related to something recent it's not a bad response. It's not my job to do your background reading for you.

but when asked for a specific example to illustrate a specific claim, then yes, it's a terrible response.

You can find a better source for your first example I hope. bizpac is a conservative think tank. I don't trust them to accurately report on an event or organization like Antifa.

The second example is an individual, and you can find stories of shitty radical individuals from any movement. It doesn't really illustrate your point.
