Unlike most folk, staying inside is pretty much status quo for me.

The fuck if it won't. Getting on the 1MC and shit-talking the captain that was just removed from command creates a huge mistrust of the chain of command within the ranks. He effectively lost the trust of the entire Navy due to his handling of that situation. That's a MASSIVE skip-level. You have the CAG (the Captain's immediate boss) do that. Not the acting SecNav.

the Trump personality of cult and military have had a lot of interesting interactions since he announced his candidacy. Generals have a short shelf life in that Admin. and yet lose zero credibility once they leave. yet ex-military still polls very strong towards the Trump electorate. it's almost like they dont blame generals for how bad it is in that whitehouse but still love Trump. its an odd one to work out, likely can just be chalked up to strong cognitive dissonance.
