You know, I always felt the Prequels were unjustly hated. Okay, Jar Jar was annoying and the small kid couldn't act. But, were they really that bad? Looking back, the Prequels were more influential to the expanded universe and lore of Star Wars than the original trilogy itself. And.... to be honest... the original trilogy has not aged well, especially A New Hope.
I'm just saying, with all things considered and the utter shitshow that is the Disney trilogy, the Prequels aren't that bad. People didn't hate the Prequels until the internet told them to.
Episode III was pretty solid and has aged very well imo
I and II the less said the better, only Ewan’s portrayal of Obi Wan and Christopher Knight (rip) as Dooku were notable. Liam Neeson was good too, but his character lasted just the one film sadly
The dialogue was pretty awful in all of them
the new trilogy (outside of the throne room fight in the Last Jedi) makes Episode I seem like The Godfather and Dark Knight combined
