Because you don't impeach members of the House Donald Dipshit!

But I do have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, given the timing of the holidays, I don't think this is particularly egregious. On the other hand, the House has done their job so they should pass it on to the Senate regardless. Everyone knows that it's going to be a sham trial so why bother trying to get the best hand possible?

Frankly, the Trump presidency has shown how weak our "norms" are to abuse. We really need to put things into the House/Senate rules, statutes, etc. where it's appropriate.
