the first sentence was a clear joke. ethnic cleansing loses it's meaning when both parties involved would ethnically cleanse each other given the chance, and do. imagine 2 hobos get into a knife fight and you describe only one of them as having "murder in his eyes". uhhhh duh, this is a centuries old conflict, and a direct conflict and ongoing war of almost 100 years stemming back to israel openly admitting it sought to cleanse israel proper per the bible of ALL arabs. only making concessions to this once it became clear that wasn't going to be possible. in a true case of irony Hitler himself was faced with the same choice, expel all jews or "deal with them", quick math told him it would be too costly to expel all of them so they ran out who they could easily and rounded up the rest.
as to why i THINK, not KNOW, they want to leave im drawing from history in which they did leave when given the chance. like when egypt, lebanon, and jordan all took in many of them. they went on to kill kings of those nations and attempt coups and terrorist attacks in their host nations, but let's not even get into that. those that sneak out of palestine or bribe guards sit now in refugee camps under lock and key so well established they're basically cities, they're just not allowed to leave and aren't granted citizenship.
