"support the palestinian cause", boy what a snarled ball of yarn that is. they surely support the destruction of israel, or at the least enough palestinians dying that global support for israel is removed or tarnished. but statehood? even they realize palestine cant exist as anything but a proxy state for a long time, they're decades at least from being a functioning state. and the minute they get statehood israel unplugs the power and turns off teh water, thats the last thing nations like Egypt, lebanon, syria, and jordan want. then we'll see arabs mowing down arabs as they flood across the border. or do you think israel needs to not only allow a true state for palestine (or more likely 2 states as they wont allow themselves to be sandwitched) but also support them? interesting take if so.
