No, but seriously: Fetterman is more of a populist-leftie than a member of the identitarian left, and in this sense, he's a better fit for me than many other Democrats. I disagree, however, with most details of his policies.

I do not support the current strain of "criminal justice reform" policies which Fetterman practices and which is driving a surge of violent crime across America right now.
I do not support sweeping gun control measures. I do not support abolishing the filibuster. I do not support a fracking ban like the one Fetterman once embraced before flip flopping on the issue.
I do not support the specific plans which are floated around in US politics under the term "Medicare for All". I do not support a wealth tax. I am highly sceptical of a federal or statewide $15 minimum wage.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg, if I did more research into his positions, I'd most definitely find further major points of disagreement.

He literally was the only member of a 5-member board of pardons to vote in favor of clemency for Wayne Covington, a guy who had pleaded guilty to first-degree murder.

The two on his campaign maintained their innocence and never got DNA testing on the weapons, but weren't proven innocent. They were granted clemency and Fetterman believes their innocence. They weren't proven innocent, so I deleted that line.

The dude in the article has been in prison for 52 years. Not exactly the slame dunk on "wanting to release violent felons". You know that lots of places in Europe have mandatory caps for first time offenders that are a fraction of that right? And their society doesn't implode?

Again, just takes some research (in this case reading your own article) to show how you're relying on "technically right" instead of "the full picture". Something you only do when you perceive it as being against Democrats.
