The store manager at my local GameStop makes $17/hr dude he is very up front about what a joke his job is. I get it though you have to downplay everything about me so you can tell people you know more about my job than I do.

Cool, turns out I knew exactly what you do for a living because it's basically the same thing my wife did, and my old room mate did, and exceptionally similar to what I did as the assistant manager at a pizza chain.

You don't set the budget, you aren't involved in its calculation in any meaningful sense. You ask the computer what the labor expense is and maybe make a schedule.

Yes lol. Assistant manager at a grocery store isn't a hard job to get. My wife was at a Bed Bath and Beyond that did 500k+ a week. My room mate worked at a Kroger that did about a million a week.

An assistant manager at even a large grocery store is basically just a cashier with scheduling power. Come off your high horse.
