Which wouldn't be the case though if we had a highly-vaccinated society.

You are wrong because tweedle dee and tweedle dumb don't accept that the vaccine is effective.

I wish the vaccine had given me superpowers.

At this point in time, I think taking the vaccine is proof of existing superpowers (compared to the 10 or so percent of NA that are so stupid that they refuse).

No, even your precious CDC admits that being vaccinated can still spread covid. Not to mention the vaccines need booster shoots, possibly indefinitely. And that's not the worst part, these vaccines aren't even that good at protecting against covid. There are cases where the vaccinated still got covid.

Looks like a triple-fail that your side needs to grapple with.

You're intentionally leaving out a whole bunch of descriptors that change the tune entirely.

The CDC has long said that they anticipate that Covid will become endemic, that people can still get Covid despite being fully vaccinated, and that the main benefit of the vaccines are to lessen acute illness and deaths.

I never said the vaccines did nothing. So your pointing out these benefits doesn't really achieve anything. However, I am sure that you are familiar with governments pushing these vaccines relentlessly, and their rationale is that taking the vaccines supposedly protects others. And we now all know that they don't. But some people (not saying you) are apparently fine with governments making them mandatory.

They do protect others though, in terms of better-assuring that ICU beds/hospitals aren't overwhelmed and that, potentially, people who unable to be vaccinated due to age or health conditions are less likely to become exposed/infected.

Not sure what you are saying. So they could be argued in a way that they protect others in a sense, that means we should mandate them?

Please clarify your position.

The logic train must have missed your stop.

If you are vaccinated, you can still spread covid, therefore you being vaccinated does not protect others, does not prevent hospitals from being overwhelmed, and does not prevent those who cannot vaccinate from being in danger.

Understand?
