and a girl with 12 random hook ups, 2 summer fling relationships, and a dude that slept on her couch for a year isnt emotionally mature and ready to settle down.

It's kinda cringe to sit on the internet and quarterback other people's lives. "Yeah, that's not a real relationship so it doesn't count" or "This TV show has X on it therefore it applies to real life" are both super cringy things to say.

My sister had a ton of boyfriends, lots of relationships, some of which lasted several years, and started her own business while doing that and didn't get married until she was 30. Nothing wrong with that. I mean, I definitely think there's things my sister can do to improve herself, but it would have been silly to look at her at 29 and say she wasn't mature enough for a relationship or didn't have her shit together.

People aren't conveyor belts.

Maybe I'm the only one in their life that cares about them enough to tell them the truth among this culture of lies.

Indian parents seem to have it straight. They pressure their daughters on a weekly basis.

recognizing a general trend of people not being "ready" for commitment at an age that generations past were married with several children isn't cringey, it a basic recognition of facts.

in context sexual liberation of women, increased financial independence of women due to joining the workforce, a generation of children raised by parents who got divorced at a rate of 50%, increased debt/earnings ratio for that generation from overburdened student loans, and increased housing prices well beyond inflation indexes explain the behavior.

I think it's overly simplistic and kinda cringy to quarterback people's lives from the internet. We get small glimpses into their lives and we aren't their therapist. We aren't the arbiters of "ready for a relationship" and we aren't omnipotent beings that know every detail of their lives.

When Endless says they're 30, had many partners, and never had a "real relationship" it wreaks of cringy incel shit. I doubt he's built a trustworthy enough relationship with them to ask about all their past relationships to know if any of them count as "real".

Makes me want to rewatch.

But it kind of makes sense that in a culture where 50% of young women don't have a father - and where the men around them are afraid to tell them the truth - that women are never spoken to about the consequences of different choices in dating.

Every choice, irresponsible or not seems to be rewarded by an army of clapping seals.

1. ive said that im talking trends, and u brought up your sister, which is textbook for an anecdotal argument, and terrible form.

2. im not passing judgement, when i say they're aren't ready im drawing on that age groups divorce rates among other stats, which prove my point objectively, not subjectively.

3. it is my personal opinion that young people have sex with too many people, under commit to relationships, and have a lot of issues in their sex lives and relationships because this is now culturally acceptable. but i still dont care, im married successful and have a family in my home with very little debt and a great looking future. i dont care what hang ups and issues 20-30 year olds are having even if its common societally and detrimental to them. i just dont care.

I'm saying he's making it up, because he almost certainly has no female friends that he's close enough with to know if they've had a "real" relationship. Cuz he's an incel with a shitty personality and has a tendency to just make shit up to make himself feel better.
