I communicate directly with DHS quite often, but I'm not a special agent. Do I do work on a contract basis to hunt pedophiles for the FBI sometimes? Yes. Do I use HexChat, a variant of IRC to destroy these sickos? Yes. Do I use Kali Linux to gain identifiers to forward to my allies in the government? Yes. Are you mad that Michelle Obama looks like a man? No.

Which conspiracy theory have I parroted? Quite funny you use "parroted" when you have an owl in your sig.

When LARPers go peak cringe.

I'd like to never discuss Trump again but my guess is we'll be constantly hearing new stories about crazy shit he did in office.

Obviously all politicians are the same though. Democrats are just as willing to put up with this in their own party, which is why they elected Biden who I'm sure is doing the same right now!

Washington (CNN)The Senate tabled an effort by Sen. Rand Paul Tuesday to force a vote on the constitutionality of former President Donald Trump's impeachment trial, but the vote offered an indicator for how Republican senators -- who overwhelmingly voted for Paul's measure -- feel about the trial.

Paul's motion was killed on a 55-45 vote, with five Republicans joining all Democrats, meaning 45 Republicans voted for Paul's effort. Republican Sens. Mitt Romney of Utah, Ben Sasse of Nebraska, Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania crossed party lines to vote with Democrats.

In order to convict Trump at his trial, at least 17 Republicans will need to vote with all Democrats when the trial begins next month. Significantly, Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell sided with Paul in the vote -- a potential indicator that he agrees the constitutionality of impeaching a former President is in question.

Pathetic that so many Republicans voted for this.

Also, McConnell was the one who delayed the start of the trial until after Trump left office. Now, he's voting in favor of a bill saying it's unconstitutional to go forward.

"This evening, Sen Leahy was in his Capitol office and was not feeling well. He was examined in the Capitol by the Attending Physician. Out of an abundance of caution, the Attending Physician recommended that he be taken to a local hospital for observation, where he is now, and where he is being evaluated.” -David Carle, Leahy spokesperson

Senator Leahy *was* clearly struggling with just repeating the lines and his voice sounded weak and he cleared his throat/coughed quite a bit.

Jesus fuck...

The guy is 80 years old, and scheduled to preside over the impeachment trial. Let's hope it's nothing serious, but still... that's a giant red flag right there. Dems should have brought in Roberts anyway, maybe they now come to their senses.

Capitol police Union: 140 officers injured in Jan. 6 mob attack.

Officers without helmets “sustained brain injuries. One officer has two cracked ribs and two smashed spinal discs. One officer is going to lose his eye and another was stabbed with a metal fence stake”

The vast majority of Republican senators want to sweep this incident under the rug and pretend Trump's actions weren't the reason it happened.

Trump is no longer president... he doesn't even have access to Twitter. Yet they persist in their devotion to the cult.

The right-wing radicalization has steadily risen during the Trump years, and the trend continues. In my opinion, it's one of the most significant problems we'll face in the coming years. And even somewhat reasonable right-wingers(including those on this forum) don't take it seriously.

McConnell was very clear in condemning the attack. Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, and others were very clear in their repeated support for left-wing violence that claimed far more lives, injured far more people, and destroyed a colossal number of businesses.

You have blinders on.
