First we said we'd pay no concessions. Now we negotiated to pay some concessions, only around £2.5bn a year until 2065 which is nothing considering the £252m a week (net) we send to the EU. Gotta give it to Theresa May and her team, they have negotiated very well so far and it's going a lot better than I, a skeptical remain voter, expected.

The Brits have just given in on everything, so big was their drive to get the transition.

The difference is that we can forge our own deals in the transition period whereas we cannot do so now. That is a YUGE difference and frankly I'm surprised you overlooked such a key point, it's very out of character for you.

Now about the free trade agreements...I doubt we will be able to make all the complex trade deals required with dozens of countries in a 21 month period that are more favourable than our current arrangements. It's going to be a testing period and of course the EU will be the toughest negotiator of them all, but if gEUrmany wants to keep exporting Volkswagens here they'd better shape up. If not, as a last resort we can always slash business tax to 10% and be a tax haven like Ireland.

havent heard that one before

no worries, the corporate EU puppets will not ruin their masters business so you guys will get a decent trade deal

He's a democrat in favour of a free society unlike Corbyn and McDonnell (who is an actual Marxist)

I just found it in the comments on the tweet you linked and thought it was some pretty solid shopping.

But I do think moggy is a twat.

I don't agree with him on a lot of things, mainly the EU and social conservative opinions. That being said I'd take him all day over Corbyn, who is an actual threat to this country's economy and national security.
