If it does at all it'll only be the result of a media-driven, establishment-driven effort to make the race seem more competitive. It's not as if his supporters or the other primary voters disagree with attitude behind the question. It was an absolute guarantee the other candidates would feign outrage because they've been losing uninterupted for 3 months and that'll amplify the potential danger to Trump.
There's going to be a few things moving the numbers over these next two weeks and they'll all be operating at the same time: Walker's $16 million buy and his total pivot to Iowa, Bush and Kasich buying in New Hampshire, the media-created "Carly's a real candidate!" narrative, and how long it'll take for the discussion to move on from post-debate autopsy. Trump's performance was abysmal and he was further exposed as being hilariously weak on policy; it's going to hurt him the longer it takes for the race to move back to that horserace/interim period where he's thrived.
