I've argued many times that the only sane thing to do is to is to accept that there are countries out there that do not agree with Western policies and they happen to be nuclear armed.

Smart leaders understand that maintaining normal relations with those countries is the only way forward. A few decades ago leaders understood that, today's woke "progressives" don't.

NATO should stay where they are and Russia should stay where they are.
