i agree with you on the decision and i understand why you are very mad about it. that does, however, not change the fact that the people that voted for it are representatives of the member states. so your anger at our politicians is very well justified, but just blaming the EU because you don't like it anyway, is letting your representatives (mostly establishment and conservatives btw, the 'lefties' and 'greens' mostly opposed it and supported amendments) off the hook too easily in favour of a simpler narrative...

these people dont represent me and the actual conservatives there have mostly voted against it
sorry, but the cdu/csu idiots pretty much completely voting in favour do not qualify as conservative or liberal anymore and neither do corporate whores like the former afd member hans olaf henkel (now lkr member)

the exact same fake conservatives and their votes also supported other corporate controlled decisions in the past, as well as mass migration, undermining national sovereignty, illegal state financing and the violation of the lisbon and maastricht treaties

supporting freedom is actually not a left vs right thing for me and i am thankful for everyone, who tried to oppose this and yes, that includes even the most deranged leftists there
thats actually the shocking part, when people i strongly disagree with 99% of the time do represent me the best on this important topic

to be clear, i suppose pretty much everyone there, even those who were supposed to represent my interest and that is the reason why i have talked about rebuilding the EU from scratch in the past

for many so called "representatives " a vote like this one isnt about politics or the interest of the europeans, its about sticking to your chair/post making shitloads of money for being a useless bureaucrat, securing nice pensions and well paid posts for the time after

true and wrong at the same time.

true in the sense that there was strong support for this bill from our mainstream parties, particularly the CDU, and that they bear the most blame. but wrong in the sense that among the german MEPs, a majority voted against this bill. so we're essentially getting this bill because we were outvoted by other member states. without having transferred the authority to pass such legislation to brussels, we wouldnt have gotten this bill here in germany.

and this

A visual aid of the voting by EP party.

Happy that I'm a Greens/EFA voter already :)

If you want more saucy pics, google (or Bing, generally better if you want saucy) Ancilla Tilia. She was a fetish model before she became a politician. ;)

The leader of the German Pirate Party during its early years was an eyecatcher as well:

So MP's have "taken control of brexit" and this is the best option of revoking article 50. Or so I'm being told by the reeeeeeeeeeeee'ers.

Hearing that Labour are ordering their MP's to vote against revoking article 50.

Not sure what the point of having indicative votes amongst MP's are if they are getting ordered but it's funny seeing the meltdown. :D

mindless party slaves instead of free minds

i hope many will refuse

btw, i dont know about the british constitution but ours is very explicit that the members of parliament cant be forced or ordered to do anything

It's mostly Corbyn and the opposition trying to sabotage the government and the other side.
Not sure you are aware of this but there's a lot of political manoeuvres involved.

Over simplified anti-intellectualism of "it's socialists" isn't .... Smart.

/e Corbyn is fucking low, but i cant blame all on him considering the simple existence of farage, johnson & others who blatantly lied to their people, created this mess, and declined to take the lead.
