No where in the article you linked three times does a person quoted defend or down-play Un's humatarian track record.

And even if they did in the article you linked, a columnist or commentator's opinion does not hold as much weight or importance as the President of the United States.

He rightfully recognized violence on multiple sides and also correctly recognized that not everyone there that day was bad.

There definitely is an equivalency and worse between the white charlottesville group and groups like antifa.

I don't know her bloodlines I don't really care but to many within tribal communities that rarely have voices or coverage on any sort of significant platform her actions and the awareness she brings hold value

I've heard that she was raised with stories of her family being involved with a tribal community and whatever came of that through relationships may hold truth maybe it's just some white folks loving our art and culture doesn't much matter to me

It's not uncommon for scenarios where mixed (even slightly) are accepted by tribes as one of the whole.

Anyone on the main stage bringing up Native issues and bringing awareness to the unbelievable abuse of native women and girls on tribal land is giving a voice to those forgotten and ignored by msm while they profit off of other injustices

She may not have high enough cheekbones for those looking to ignore and discredit her but I hope she keeps on keepin' on
