its so funny to watch lib reporters try to be tough on Biden so they can counter the assumed incoming right wing pushback about going soft, but they don't know how to not drool over him.

This a situation where reality has a liberal(or perhaps non-Trump) bias. The previous president tried to steal an election... he never participated in the peaceful transition of power. The powerful people in the GOP went along with it. Trump was a cruel lunatic throughout most of the 4 years... he referred to the free press as the enemy of the people. So reporters not acknowledging the change that has taken place are not reporting accurately.

I've watched every press briefing under Biden so far and reporters have done a decent job. They even float some of the bad faith arguments from the right, which I think is acceptable, because the media needs to be adversarial.

It's not the job of journalists to pretend that both sides have equally valid arguments, or that they behave in the same manner. They aren't referees in between the right and the left.. they are supposed to have standards based on evidence, and the truth. With those standards, the right-wing(and Republicans) will fall short most of the time.

This is mainly the part that I was getting at. Some of the press conference questions have been dumb as shit after the initial burst of real questions, and you can tell its purely to look like they're "going hard" its just amusing is all.

Honestly I don't mind because she should be ready to take down some of the silly right-wing talking points. Her answer on Biden not wearing a mask at the Lincoln memorial was weak.. her people need to pay more attention to the right-wing gutter tbh.

If she has an opportunity to respond to right-wing nonsense with substantive answers, I think it'll be a benefit to the administration.

I know you thought that was a huuuuuuuuge point but it wasn't. Unions can support a candidate and both agree and disagree with that candidate. People can, too. You can't. You seem to have your mouth sewed onto Trump's asshole for some reason.

That pipeline only provided 35 permanent jobs. The union members lost this job and will go on to pick up another. That's the way the world works.

Here in Missouri the GOP legislature (tea party GOP, not real Americans) tried to pass Right to work. We voted it down. Then those same GOP tried to force right to work on us. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers came together, went door to door and campaigned to shut that shit down. We did. The people won.

If you see a union that primarily votes Republican then they are either in a state where the GOP are still good, honest Republicans or they're a grift from the Tea Party -> Q Anon -> Trump terrorists
