At this rate US will be in major Middle East war again. Most the region turning on Israel whether by nefarious plans or reactionary response to what's going on. What worries me is the existing troop deployments in Syria and Iraq being in ever increasing hostile territory. Further, the neo cons in DC are taking sweet time bolstering the troops. Maybe they want an incident to further entrench US into the conflict or just inept.
As much as I argue against war and blank war checks for fanatic religious states, if war path is inevitable at least bolster our own US troops closer to Iran and Islamic state shitholes. Although, even with bolstered deployment, the economics of that Iron Dome going to be massive as missiles spent on hammade crap.
Also if US going all in, Israel needs elect a competent leader. Netanyahu's led Mossad is a complete disgrace and has the whole world confused. For sake of Israel citizens that guy gotta go
I've read reports today that the delay of the Israeli ground offense is partly because their US partners have asked them for a couple more days to bolster the air defense of US military installations across the Middle East.

I could be wrong but it seems like the more this drags out, the more people are calling for a ceasefire. the warmongering is on the wane and Im hopeful that the IDF ground invasion being delayed is a sign of cooler heads prevailing but I just might be delusional
no more innocents lives need to be lost
Israel just going home without taking any further action against the Hamas terorists and their structures is neither sensible nor realistic. After this much delay and this many warnings, any civilians who still remain where the hammer will drop, i.e. near Hamas in northern Gaza, are either forced to act as human shields by the terrorists, or there based on their own ideological conviction. Neither of which should bother Israel too much.
Also note that calling for a ceasefire before Hamas has been decimated is effectively taking on a pro-Hamas position, no matter how much it's framed as neutral concern for innocent lives.
