if 1, i again have no issue. they did what they wanted to do, they got what they wanted to get. good for them. i'm not sure i'd exactly call it "mastery of nature" though. either way, good for them.

Yes it is mastery. So is taking birth control to prevent pregnancy. I'm not saying it is good or bad. I'm against cloning altogether and think its embracing anti life values, but it is a demonstration of mastery over nature.

Why do you not think controlling your hormones and body through technology is not mastery over nature?

I'm defining mastery as complete control. Living on a ventilator or dialysis for example shows some mastery over death.

It is typically the result of a brain who has its neural pathways formed during traumatic lives experiences and it isn't a psychiatric illness that can be treated.

I will repeat, antisocial personality disorder is not a psychiatric illness and it is not treatable. There is no part of the brain or biology that we can point to and say "that isn't working right". Now we can often look after the fact and see that some parts of the brain were not developed well throughout life but that is all stuff happening after birth, because after birth social(external) factors pretty much direct biology, which is why evolution works, we adapt, etc.
