Is there really a pattern of sexual abuse by priests among Jehovah's witnesses or mormons? There will surely be some isolated cases from these groups, but is there an outright clustering of child abuse cases, comparable to what we find among Catholic priests?

It is the LGBTQ community which insists on holding pride parades (where they quite literally shove their sexuality in our face), forces others to address them with specific pronouns and sexualizes school content for pre-teen children.

Jehovah's witnesses are being fined a $1000 A-day in Australia because they are actively harboring pedophiles And won't cooperate with the criminal case.

Similar with mormons.

The issue isn't that pedophilia exists in these groups it's that they always defend them and then hide the perpetrators. This isn't the same as Hollywood just having rich people who can defend themselves. It's an active and organized effort taken from the top of the organization and it seems to always happen in these Christian organizations.

that's not how i'd characterize many of the situations. Harvey Weinstein for instance was a known perv among those he worked with but was protected to keep his company successful by those who had a vested interest in his company.

Bill Cosby was another guy who's exploits were well known. it was an open secret. his ultimate downfall ironically enough came from Hannibal Burress repeatedly doing a bit in his standup about how cosby is a daterape drug rapist but no one does anything about it. Women in the case were quoted to have said this opened a dialogue that gave them the courage to come forward. people knew but the increasing public exposure was the straw that broke the camels back.

But honestly it doesn't matter to this conversation. Rich executives are in the same camp as religious organizations in my book.

Any time you have a group of people with authority who are above question you will get this behavior to some degree.

My main point is that as far as real pedophile scandals go, LGBTQ people are at like the bottom of the list in terms of concern. The same people who "want kids to be free of harm" are also the ones trying to force children into churches and wanting them to be taught to not question authority and actively targeting and doxxing trans children.
