It might make sense for many people, albeit surely not everyone. And in any case, it should be self-evident that it will be extremely tough to sell such a policy of forcibly kicking people off their current healthcare plans, even if they like them, to the general electorate. Trump and Republicans would have a field day savaging such a plan.
