Plenty of people break out of poverty. I was born and have lived in the inner city all of my life, now have an mba and do okay. See blacks around me doing okay despite them being born in poor families or having to depend on the state. You don't know what real poverty is tbh, most Americans really don't. Some black kid in America is infinitely better off than many places around the globe. Poverty here is a kid is fat and eats a lot of good tasting but unhealthy food meanwhile in many parts of the world it's literally trying to survive on a dollar a day.
