I'm sure, just like flu vaccine prevents some spread.
I think people should come to the reality that Covid in all likelihood is here to stay. So far I haven't seen anything to suggest it wont, considering we're getting new variants every few months. With time it will be viewed just as another fact of life we deal with like cancer, like the flu, like driving deaths, like alcohol deaths and so on. So it makes sense for us to adapt to that way of thinking instead of moving the goal posts of what are acceptable freedoms, but in reality I think this is going to be the patriot act all over again. 20 years later, the war time measures curtailments of freedom have become the norm.
Once a few variants go by we will end up with a less deadly disease. Until that happens we will continually be at risk of overwhelmed hospitals.
If they got vaccinated then Covid could be here to stay and we still wouldn't need to do much distancing because hospitals would have capacity available.

25% wrong is a lot of stuff for an authority like the CDC.
And you are ignoring what he is saying. If even the CDC is admitting that being vaccinated means you can still spread covid, then what's the point?
Because vaccines keep you out of the hospital and make it less likely you will spread it, even if it isn't eliminated outright.
