Agreed. The witch hunt brought against her has been unprecedented. Toughest politician in generations.

She's tough and knows how to take the heat, but she's also corrupt and untrustworthy. It's just how the Clintons conduct their business. They are also pretty good at their jobs.

But she brings a lot of these scandals and problems upon herself.

I don't think we should praise her for how well she handles self-inflicted controversy.

Monica agrees

Her husband being impeached over a BJ is one such witch hunt. Especially considering the three ring leaders were Gingrich, Ensign, and Toe-Tappin' Craig.

I don't know how many are self-inflicted. The Whitewater thing has been drug through the mud for decades now and there is no evidence of any sort of crime, just a few people who have died since the 1980s (a lot of people have died since the 1980s).

The funny thing about Whitewater, is the whole Savings & Loan Crisis happened because of deregulating S&L banks and allowing to behave like commercial banks.....75% of American S&L banks were bankrupt within just a couple years of this, including Whitewater S&L. It isn't like the Clintons intentionally made these S&Ls crash anyway....there have been exhaustive investigations brought about by her enemies that have found nothing. Just a lot of mythology here about their ruthlessness.

I'm mostly referencing things like Benghazi committee, which has been the most expensive tax-payer funded GOP fundraiser in the history of their political party. The guy that was going to be the speaker of the house was sacked because he was too truthful about it.

People are making a lot of comments about the Clinton Foundation, but the only real criticism of it from a philanthropy standpoint is that its focus is too broad and diffuse to make any lasting impact in any single area. The scandal around it is about speeches and how their charity work intersected with those paid speeches. This isn't going to amount to much.

She will crack a few jokes about the email thing on the campaign trail....the interview will go something like...
reporter: "what do you always travel with"
HRC: "Well I put down the hotsauce this time (she pandered so hard with the hotsauce comment) and must say I never travel without my phone, like most people. It has all my contacts on there, little games I play, links to world news, and I can also access my email from it....but you heard all about that didn't you."
HRC+reporter shares laugh.

The email thing is only going to influence the votes of people who are already looking for reasons to hate her.

It is real easy for someone to be criticized for their way of achieving power. Especially by some person like Trump, who never actually had to get his power, and rather inherited it.

Clinton has been though a lot, a lot of it is artificial. A lot of it is clarifying what happened in an event (Benghazi) but then stretching that situation out looooong past any ethical guidelines call for and went well into the direction of character assassination. The best part of it is when Sec Clinton was questioned by their senate panel and she fucking slammed all of them publicly in it....their A-team. That was great.

The other things going against her scandal wise are:

She has a Muslim princess working for her (Huma Abedin)
She defended icky people in court and laughed about it retroactively. I can't help by laugh at the worse people done social work for after the fact. Especially when they've thrown feces at me.
She was influenced by Saul Alinsky (whose tactics the Tea Party used at behest of another Alinsky fan, Glen Beck)

And who knows what else her enemies are going to create or attribute to her. the list grows everyday.

Everybody talks about how corrupt she is....she is an American running for president. How do you get individuals go give you hundreds of millions of dollars to run for president? If you ever take money from a Super Pac you are corrupt. Guess what, every single presidential politician has to take money from the Super Pacs. It is political reality. Bernie would have taken money from the Super Pacs, and it would have influenced his platform. You can't fault American politicians for the capitalist system they're running for office in....this is no democracy, a marketplace of ideas where the best rise to the top....the best ideas don't rise to the top, the ideas that are partial to capitalist interest are rising to the top, and this is why American politics isn't equipped to deal with the problems facing America, because they want to administer the problems-solution toward Capitalists interests, and not the interest of the American people.

At least with the Dems there is some trickle down. The GOP loves to crash the economy by removing as much money in circulation as possible to put in the private savings of their friends in the form of tax cuts, which have an anti-stimulating effect on the economy due to lowering aggregate expenditure and demand for goods and services.

splitting hairs?

"The Impeachment of Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States, was initiated by the House of Representatives on two charges, one of perjury and one of obstruction of justice, on December 19, 1998. The charges stemmed from his extramarital affair with former White House Intern Monica Lewinsky and his testimony about the affair during a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him by Paula Jones. He was subsequently acquitted of these charges by the Senate on February 12, 1999.[1] Two other impeachment articles – a second perjury charge and a charge of abuse of power – failed in the House."

He wouldn't have been impeached if he hadn't lied?

People love to create monsters and villains but they also love to humanize them

Bill's speech was incredibly effective at humanizing her and lifetiming/hallmarking their life and marriage

Having it float around the internet while this thing goes forward will prove to be a great asset

Democrats, the rape and murder apologist party.

Might as well be talking to Ed Gein.
