Maybe you don't see the same news, but Netenyahu was indeed asking for US involvement and assistance prior to the Trump all in posts. IMO begging, but absolutely an appeal.
Also, can't argue with the effectiveness of Israel's military, it's dominated this engagement.
I think the whole public messaging was a facade now. Trump was all in from the get go. If it's a 'forever end' that would be great. Seems a pipe dream.
