that would depend on a large number of factors, did she have a warrant for the place she thought she was entering, was the call for something violent, etc. in any case it's not what happened here.

I saw one where the cops raided the wrong house and shot the dog dead and saw no repercussions.

yes because if they raided somewhere they had a warrant. there's a difference between breaking into a house (even the wrong one) when a judge gave you permission to enter a house.

i'm guessing however that the family sued and won against the police dept. not a great outcome but better than a dead dog and no apology.
