Should probably not provide healthcare to anyone then.
You just have to be able to stomach seeing your family, friends, and neighbors, suffer horribly and die to easily preventable conditions should our economic rationing system for healthcare ever become rational.
I have patients who are sick as fuck right now denied by their insurance sticking away days we will eat as a hospital.
Medical Mutual is the worse commercial insurance bar none. They will approve an intial three days then auto deny in reviews on day four onward. Humana is pretty bad. Molina and Medical Mutual like to set last cover days on Friday and review on Monday for some reason so when they deny Saturday and Sunday are uncovered already, its fucked up. Do you know how much uninsured hospital stays cost? It works for the shareholders.
Caresource is doing something that is going to change inpatient a lot currently but I'm not sure how that will play out yet. It has to do with reimbursals tied to planning aftercare that the patient actually follows up with. That's just not gonna work.
