Humans couldn't inhabit the earth 4.5 billion years ago. That's the point. We and the other life we share this planet with exist within specific parameters. Once those parameters are eliminated, so is modern life. Why is it that conservatives want to force humans into extinction? Do you really love cockroaches so much that you want them to take over for you?

I'll address that for the fun of it:

Farmers driving with Tractors to Den Hague to protest against getting the blame for high emissions :)

They were not allowed to drive over the highway, but for the sake of having an impact, I'm happy that they did. One or more parties are thinking about deducing the numbers of animals for our meat industry by 50%. It would be a drastic measure greatly impacting farmers to reduce (mainly) nitrogen emissions.

I hope they become homeless and die.

At least, their American counterparts deserve this. After all the shit they talk about others who moved to Los Angeles and San Francisco due to homelessness and poverty, they deserve to be forced to do the same until they die.

another pale pasty privileged lefty wishing for more death. wasn’t the 60-100mm done in by lefty movements like marxism and its derivatives (socialism, communism, leninism, trostkyism, national-socialism) enough or will the bloodlust never be satisfied?

Kinda interested what they did for them to deserve to be homeless and die.. Dunno about the US, but here it are mostly family businesses passed on, already regulated to reduces emission for decennia, working hard day by day. Imo they deserve a lot of respect, conforming to all the new regulation over and over.. These talks about reducing the number of held animals is devastating for specifically these family businesses, as indeed, they will possibly be out of business. It's being held off by our current government for now, because of it. Possibly this will be more slowly managed by creating subsidized programs to re-school from a farm life to something else. It's the most humane but I don't know if it's the best.

To reach climate goals and sustain 11bil world citizens, it's inevitable to completely overhaul the meat industry within the next 30 years.

Correct. I am the privileged child of farmers from south-central Georgia. I am uniquely qualified to comment on them. There can be no satisfaction until all conservative ideologies are laid to rest.

We should be reducing human population to 1 billion or less not increasing it to 11
