It's ironic that you say one thing about god is unknowable, and then go on to state other things about god as if they aren't also unknowable.

Is god the ultimate grounding for reality? We can't know. Claiming you know is arrogant.

this is called the essence energy distinction, god's inner nature is completely transcendent but His operations in the world we can experience

prove we cannot know if He is the ultimate grounding, or prove within your worldview how knowledge itself is possible

I can't prove or disprove anything about god.

how do you know this?

it was not meant to be an argument, this is your primary issue. it was for explanatory power by the other guy, to explain what his position is not the validity of it.

I am also giving you an explanation of His operations, not attempting to prove the validity because if you cannot understand the position it would make it very difficult to prove the validity of it.

"Since you have no reliable access to God's nature, His process, his will/intentions or even of his existence" prove this is the case

"We have no way of knowing why or ability to rationalize good vs evil." prove this is the case

you still haven't justified how universal transcendentals like logic and truth objectively exist within your own framework. are you going to actually start backing up your assertions, or just keep cowering?

You are still missing the point his position is untenable. Why should anyone care how you believe god operates or what he says if god himself is not valid.
If you cannot validate the thing you are trying to explain then you explanation about the thing is undermined. Nothing more than speculation/fantasy

If you cannot establish gods validity> then grounding anything in a non valid god becomes pointless.

I'm not convinced there is or isn't a god. How could I prove anything about something I'm not convinced exists?

is knowledge itself possible within your own worldview?

Knowledge of things that by definition are supernatural, no.

Validate the universal transcendentals within your own worldview that you are currently borrowing to attempt to critique me.

Knowledge of things that by definition are supernatural, no.

if your only basis for claiming 'we can't know' is just that you personally aren't convinced, you are confusing your own personal ignorance with a universal fact.

I didn't ask you about the supernatural, I asked you about knowledge itself. are the immaterial laws of logic and objective truth possible to know within your worldview, or is your framework limited strictly to material things you can physically touch?

It's my basis for

I can't prove or disprove anything about god.

I'm not sure why you'd ask me a question about one thing I said and then pretend it's a response about something else I said.

I gave the response about the supernatural because proving or disproving god is about proving or disproving the supernatural.

Your question about knowledge is a philosophical one that I don't have an answer for.

you are rewriting history. your very first post said 'We can't know.' you made a universal claim about human limitation, and your only justification for it is your own personal lack of conviction.

and then you openly admit you have absolutely no answer for how knowledge, logic, or truth are even possible within your worldview.

if your framework cannot account for or ground the very laws of logic you are using to type these replies, you have zero foundation to critique any other worldview including the possibility of knowledge of God. thank you for proving my point.

No, you quoted where I said I can't prove or disprove god. That's what your question was about.

If your question was about "we can't know" you should have quoted that one instead.

Don't ask me a question about one thing and then pretend you asked me about something else.

I gave an answer for the supernatural because that's what this is about.
