Try not to read between lines that aren't there. I'm not sure what good or bad faith is. I try to construct strong arguments. Sometimes we make arguments because it's interesting to see where they go. That is part of healthy discussion.

You feel shame when you've done something wrong. Beliefs are what they are. Sometimes it's necessary to adjust, and some things remain the same. I would love it if the Democrats became the party of liberalism again. I have no desire to see antifa raging in the streets or professors fired for giving voice to unpopular beliefs. But that is the reality in which we live, and it seems likely to only get worse. One can disagree with Trump and despise the direction in which the left is taking us, the two aren't exclusive.

Considering you spent virtually zero time making any criticism of Trump for the past four years (I literally never saw a single post from you doing so), yeah. Hard to take you seriously. I defended Barr because he had been maligned unjustly beyond all reason. Barr has been vindicated. I defended McConnell, despite whatever our disagreements are, and McConnell has been vindicated. The Russian collusion investigation was a travesty.

We are all more likely to ignore news that we don't like. It's something that we need to take care and guard against. See how you guys have contorted yourselves over the past year to avoid acknowledging wide-spread left-wing violence over police shootings that have been, at the vest best, widely misrepresented.
