The real question then is whether Shokin was investigating Burisma during the interim when it was seized by the pro-western government and Biden put on the board, up until Shokin was ousted shortly thereafter. His replacement can claim Shokin was not investigating Burisma enough or intentionally spiking it, and he could be technically true, because there's a distinction between the periods when Burisma was held by Russian-aligned oligarchs and Western-aligned oligarchs, and Shokin was aligned with the former.

As for the rest, I actually don't know the exact timelines, I'm just going off of what I've read (which is obviously pro-Western media). Maybe there is a slim chance that Hunter was corrupt in all this but the correct time to do that isn't after Biden announces his campaign. You also contact the FBI and anyone else in the DOJ so they can handle it. You don't go through your personal fucking lawyer and have conflicting policy directives with the State department. Honestly, Giuliani being involved is such a bad look that it's GROSSLY incompetent AT BEST.

Don't you think it would be incredibly improper, scandalous and impeachable for a president to direct his law enforcement to investigate the criminal behaviors of his opponents that occur completely outside of the jurisdiction of those agencies?
If there was any crime here, it was Ukrainian crime, not under US law. There would be more of a case against Trump if he had done that, and you better believe the democrats would be holding impeachment hearings and screaming bloody murder
