You're doing that thing that you complain about, where you pretend that because an organization has some shady behavior that they are always shady or acting in bath faith. When it's a group you like the conclusions of you are more than wiling to scream GENETIC FALLACY at the top of your lungs. Believe me I'm open to "the intelligence community" being corrupted, but in this case where the evidence was laid out mostly for everybody to see, the investigator was a lifelong member of the party of the establishment he was investigating, and for a few other reasons, I don't think it's prudent to assume a bias.
Russiagate was not a hoax, it turned up collusion between campaign members and Russia (notably Paul Manafort passing polling data), and also revealed an unsettling willingness to collude that was only stymied by Trump's own staff refusing his personal orders to do so.
This is not what I have said or done.
A gross misrepresentation.
I criticized the idea that we should take them at their word because they are the intelligence agencies.
This is what I was responding to:

You mean the word of the nation's top intelligence agency officials?
More than enough information has come out demonstrating shady behavior and an ulterior motive and agenda on this specific topic (russiagate) too.
Leaked emails showing it was a deliberate strategy to undermine Trump. Setting up flynn. Many lies involving the Steele dossier(both its contents and how it was used). etc etc.
Goom went over a lot of this in much detail.
How gullible would you have to be to think Russiagate was all about merit and justice and not shady?
right after it fell apart they switched to Ukraine to impeach him over nonsense because they thought it was some heinous crime? Compared to all the shit government does on a regular basis? Come on now.
They were looking for any and all reasons.
