If all you can post as credentials for your scientific prowess is "I've been quoted in newspapers and on CNN", and doing weather forecasts for a long time, that's not enough. Note that this the best picture, as it is what they use to promote themselves.
It's like someone trying to disprove relativity with "I've been quoted in newspapers on planets and I present a tv show on the lunar cycle." The credentials are not relevant.

It's not up to anybody to show they don't. It's up to you to support your source by showing they do.
Tbh the graph can be thrown in the garbage for not labeling axes correctly alone. If I pulled that on a paper in grad school that'd be an automatic fail.
