All of the things he complains about were already in place when I was born in 91, and I'm about as young as possible to be considered a "youngster".

Also, how did "youngsters" influence the world to create those things? It's not the 15-25 year olds just starting their careers that make corporate decisions and set economic trends. It's the 30-50 year olds with disposable income.

Exactly lol. It's one of the dumber memes I've seen because it shows how Boomers and early Gen Xers fucked up.

I find it funny that they even bring up McDonalds and Burger King because those are two of the biggest franchises that built their business on the huge wave of industry built specifically to feed baby boomers.

Conversely, Biden’s incriminating words were neither overheard nor just transcribed. In fact, he said this on camera at an on-the-record CFR meeting. Video tape exists of Biden boasting about securing the dismissal of the man who was probing his son’s possible graft.

On a side note... no one forced millennials to all rush out and buy SUVs. :/

/e Almost forgot... all the switching from paper to plastic was also a millennial idea to "save the trees". Now that the ocean is full of plastic, it's suddenly the boomer's fault. :/

Millennials just started doing this though and SUVs have been a huge part of the market since the late 90s (20 years ago). I think you're confusing Millennials with GenX.

I never understood the appeal of SUVs over a mini-van though. Once you have kids, you're no longer cool so just embrace it and go with the mini-van.

Well GenX as well. All I am sure of is that boomers used paper bags, paper big mac boxes, paper straws, etc.

I also remember the 1967 Mustang I had. California changed the law from all cars 1973 or newer had to have pollution equipment and inspections to all cars 1965 or newer. So I ahd to take the Mustang in for emissions check. I was kinda worried that all kinds of pollution hardware would be required etc. The guy doing the emissions test said... don't worry, these cars run cleaner than the new cars.
All it need was a tiny vacuum advance adjustment.

Point is... All this world damaging crap didn't come from the boomers. That's assuming it really is all that... world damaging.

All those things, which happened between the 80's and 2000's, were definitely the result of boomers. During that time period boomers would have been between 26 and 56, meaning they were definitely the primary economic drivers during that time.

Yeah, like in the mid 80's when WE shut down all the steel mills in Pittsburgh. There was a lot of industry left over from WW II, that's another project the boomers took on... cleaning that all up.

And now, 60-70 years later, I hear people BLAMING the boomer for climate change.

It's kinda like people today screaming about how abortion is a woman's right. It's just another instance of the younger generations not taking responsibility for THEIR actions. Every generation goes through this. Most refuse to take responsibility till 20-30 years AFTER the shyt hits the fan.

This is a reality of your generation having more power (both political and economic). Gen X is a pretty small generation so they will never have a target on their back whereas Millennials will. I think in 20 years, the generations after them (Zoomers and w/e comes after that) will blame Millennials for the world's problems.
