There's way too much talk about Trump's VP lately. He should wait until about August to announce his pick. It's important for him to keep his options open and maintain his political leverage with who he picks.

Typically, candidates don't pick their VPs until early August or so, and then they see a temporary boost in polling and in coverage. Trump would best be advised to wait on a VP pick for a while instead of rushing into one now.

He could potentially save picking one until he's been vetted a little more and gotten some other bad laundry out about his past/tax return or what have you and then make his pick to steer media coverage/public perception in a different direction.
