Whether or not its the most idiotic thing you've seen from turning point isn't the issue here. Way to miss/avoid the point.
No luck on the search?
i have no idea what you mean by search.
disingenuous isn't an inherent value. it's subject to opinion in many contexts. especially when it's not being used in a context of factual correctness alone, but in the context of presenting something as simple that isn't simple. it's my opinion that calling something a machine gun that doesn't operate at all like the more common machine guns of the 1900s is presenting something as simple that isn't simple, and therefore disingenuous.
you can disagree all you want, you just can't call me wrong.
still waiting on those sources of semi auto and 1700s machine gun definitions tho. i could use some toilet reading.
im sure anyone reading this understands the core issue in this conversation, i'm simply more pragmatic on a regular basis with regards to guns than you're capable of ever being. i think machine gun is misleading, and detrimental to fruitful conversations. this is something that wont register to a staunch 2A "no changes" type person. what's funny tho is you're advocating a pretty silly small misleading path to gun conversations, then when i compared you to far worse leftist examples you completely lost it and claimed i was saying you're equal. and of course the irony of me saying generally "that's not simple, it's misleading" and then you making the conversation immeasurably more complicated than it needs to be (with zero sources) wasn't lost on me.
lesson learned, don't call cam fender-esque, it makes him mad.
