no, but with the childish bullshit going on in the efdd i would say they are the closest to what i can vote for

there are over two months to go though and i have some reading to do before i make a decision

I'll probably vote whichever has a program that is most focused on european integration. Ecology is also an important issue. Left vs right is less of an issue for me on a continental level.

I usually vote ALDE, but I can't rule out SD, EFA or DiEM25 for now (even though the latter two are a tad too lefty for me). Like I said, I'll wait for the programs.

Multiple shots fired in a tram at the 24 Oktoberplein in Utrecht. So far no dead yet, but it's all still chaos. Lots of wounded, 3 Trauma helicopters en route. Nothing known about perps yet.

-edit- Update: An anti-terrorism unit is present. The Binnenhof (parliament building) is also under heightened security atm.

Definitely could just be a criminal gang fight. It's in Kanaleneiland, one of the 'worse' neighbourhoods in Utrecht. We've also had multiple assassinations between drug related gangs (mostly Moroccan), but nothing is known yet.

Latest developments:

Cops are looking for a red Renault Clio. Anti-terror unit is currently preparing to enter an apartment building close to the shooting at the Trumanplein. Snipers are present on a roof.

Terror alert level has been raised to 5 in the province of Utrecht. Everyone there is advised to stay inside unless it is absolutely necessary to leave. All mosques in Utrecht have been evacuated, all schools are keeping children inside. Utrecht University has also locked down. Utrecht Central station is locked down as well.
