Goomshill is a civil libertarian so of course he would allow that. As long as the attack/threat isn't imminent, it falls under the umbrella of free speech.

If Al Qaeda were stupid enough to organize their attacks on public platforms, the NSA would have a very easy time finding them and stopping their attacks. That would be the "consequence".

When assisting the FBI who have jurisdiction over it, that's literally their job.
I also support my local plumbers being the ones to cut and install new pipes when folks freeze them in the winter.
