oh come on now, you can't possibly be gullible enough to actually believe that. republicans haven't been planning this for decades, nominating justices specifically to overturn roe v. wade, just because they knew that 4th wave feminism would produce some crass individuals that would trigger them so much that they would want to strip away women's rights for everyone just to get back at those idiots. their people have been attacking abortion clinics and murdering doctors before memes even existed. stop the victim blaming, choose a different topic to be an enlightened centrist on, lol.
the idea that conservatives nominated conservative justices who would rule on laws conservatively just to overturn wade i dont believe. it was a bonus on top of getting conservative justices. they've used abortion as a rallying call for decades, if it goes away they'll lose a tool. something they can accept but they're not a 1 issue party. only in the last several justices did it even look possible, and without a win by Trump that was unexpected to the GOP leadership AND the death of RBG which wasnt exactly predicted either it wouldnt be possible. this is the culmination of some seriously happenstance events. and blocking obama's nominee was partisan politics (and dirty politics i dont like i might add), not a crusade against abortion primarily.
congress should have codified this forever ago, under one of the many mandates they squandered because they too though this day would never come. i myself have said repeatedly it would never be struck down. and i was wrong.

All this does is it'll just make it harder in some states to have an abortion. Idk why there's all this gnashing of teeth, abortions aren't going to end, it'll just be inaccessible in certain areas. Snuffing out a life should have some cost, time and money to travel to a liberal state seems appropriate without crossing into draconian measures. I'm not really concerned that now a women will have to go to Cali or NY and have to incur monetary costs to travel somewhere. At the end of the day most of us pro-life people understand abortions won't end but rates will go down if the person trying to get out is inconvenienced enough.
and rates of poor black kids without dads will rise too. time to raise welfare, food stamps, and push massive funding into inner city schools, right?
