So hypothetical scenario
Travis and Gregory McMichael citizen's arrest Arbery at gunpoint, but instead of charging them and dying, he surrenders. They hold him for a few minutes as the cops arrive.
Cops review the evidence and see the videos of him trespassing and check with neighbors who show them the videos of his other burglaries from the past few months and arrest him on suspicion of burglary. The McMichaels go home, Arbery goes through booking and is released pending trial and just the usual routine of lengthy time between court dates before pleading to a lesser count and getting either back out on the streets that same day or after a short stint. But Arbery brings a criminal complaint against the McMichaels, accusing them of false imprisonment and aggravated assault and a hate crime for the citizen's arrest.
In our alternate universe, do the McMichaels get arrested on multiple felony charges each?
just give it up already, you racist hack. there is no way you can spin this into a justified killing, no matter how desperately you're trying.
the mcmichael's had NO justification whatsoever to make a citizen's arrest, let alone chase and confront him with drawn weapons. it's trayvon martin all over again, and the scum is out in droves to defend the murderer(s).
