1- this is a good q, i think there should be something tying him to the ziminskis if that is the provocation the pros is claiming
2- I think gage has some type of immunity for testifying.



I have no idea whats going to happen.

The irony here is, as far as I'm aware, Mr. Zaminski is being charged with brandishing and reckless endangerment for his firing in the air. The reason the defense could not bring him in as a witness is because he had the fifth open to him and would 100% have pled it due to an upcoming trial. Had the Prosecution provided him immunity, he could have testified affirmative or negative whether Kyle pointed his rifle at him.

On the flipside, while Mr. Zaminski clearly did wrong firing his gun in the air (what goes up must come down), Grosskreutz pointed his handgun at another person's head, leaving them no choice but to raise their rifle and fire at him to preserve their own life. Why would he, of all people involved, receive immunity?

HEY DID THEY GIVE THE VERDICT YET??

Any theories as to why it is taking so long?

No. And the primary theory behind why it's taking so long is 36 pages worth of jury instruction, much of it confusing, ambiguous, and/or contradictory. Further, there's suspicion that the floor person is a holdout, one way or the other. However, as of this time, everything is hearsay.

Regarding my post, when taken into context of "stated under oath" the only person Kyle shot who testified under oath was Grosskreutz, so yes, it was very clear who I was referring to. Anything else?

The jury is probably conflicted on how to apply self-defense laws for someone who planned out his self-defense ahead of time and made a special trip to go do it.

The piglet will probably be acquitted and run for his state legislature.
