You and like-minded folks are constantly stressing how uneducated, unintelligent, degenerate and backwards most of his core followers are. Yet these people seem to get what the president is saying. Why do the hillbillies and rednecks understand him, but you, someone who's much more intelligent and educated than them, struggles with it?





This statement referred to his campaign slogans. Also, we have to distinguish here. Compared to most other politicians, Trump's speeches contain an unusually high share of "noise", but the "signal"-part of it is typically very clear and on the nose.


Anyway, that's all referring to his general communication and the question whether his speech is easily discernible or not. However, if you read through the coronavirus thread, you will see that I consistently called Trump's messaging on this particular issue a disaster since the very beginning. On this particular issue, his communication is indeed a failure, and I never disputed that.

It isn't that we don't understand that he is dishonest and that he blabbers constantly. We know he has no credibility....we can see how shitty of a person he is every time his mail order wife looks at him lol, she can barely hide her contempt...that is why she always wears black, she is dressing for the job she wants #widow. It isn't that we don't get it, we understand it, and we don't like it. It doesn't matter if he actually grabs teenage women by the pussy like he claimed he did on that tape with that reporter (what a genius moment), claiming it is plenty for me to think he is a pig, that and hanging with Epstein. Him making fun of people with Parkinson's and Parkinsonism at a campaign rally might not signify some deep seated ableism, but it sure makes him totally beneath me as a person, and it makes people who look to him for leadership and inspiration somewhat low class and unter as well.
