Tie the Democratic Party to impeachment proceedings by getting their votes on the record (for or against it).

Im not sure that is going to do anything for the right. Most people already know how the left feels about Trump. Solidifying it isnt going to say much.

However, dragging this process out on live TV during the election will most likely have a negative affect on 45's reelection chances.
